So apparently, Huawei Malaysia has been doing a Battery Replacement Event for quite some time now. Starting from 8 April, the event will end on 7 May 2019 and no matter which Huawei smartphone model it is, it only cost RM99 which is a deal breaker.

For those who don’t know yet, Huawei’s own OS based on Android, EMUI 5.0 is now available on five more Huawei devices. The devices are the Huawei P9, P9 Plus , P9 Lite ,  Mate 8 and Nova Plus.  Updates can be found via settings and downloaded Over-the-Air (OTA) now.

With the recent release of the Huawei Mate 9 in Malaysia, we know it comes with the latest EMUI 5.0 OS which is based on Android 7.0 Nougat. Fans were wondering if EMUI 5.0 will also be available for other devices, well, wonder no more because Huawei now has an official statement about it. Below is the official list of devices that will receive the new OS update:

The Huawei announcements made at IFA 2016 is coming our way! Specifically, the Huawei Nova Plus and the Huawei MediaPad M3. These two devices were spotted on SIRIM, which means its impending launch is near.

While many companies have showcased their products at the IFA 2016 event, Huawei has once again stood out from the rest by winning multiple awards from various picks such as Slashgear, Android Central, Mobile Geeks, Tech Advisor, FoneArena, TabTimes, Phone Scoop, and Tom's Guide. The winning device that got such recognition was none other than the Huawei Nova and Nova Plus, as well as the MediaPad M3.

Looks like the biggest news of the week came in at the last moment as Samsung officially recalled the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 over a faulty sometimes exploding battery. It wasn't the only one suspended as Google also stopped work on their Project Ara modular smartphone.
