The Huawei P30 series did nothing but wow us with their extreme camera capabilities yesterday. However, as soon as we thought the presentation was over, the Chinese manufacturer brought out an array of interesting smart accessories which included the Huawei Watch GT, 40W 12000 SuperCharge Power Bank, some earphones as well as smart glasses.

Right after the global launch of the Huawei P30 series, camera-centric site DxOMark have given the P30 Pro the highest mobile camera score of 112, knocking out the Mate 20 Pro, P20 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S10+ which were at 109. Featuring massive improvements over practically any other smartphone currently in the market, DxOMark not only says that “... the P30 Pro is easily the most versatile mobile imaging tool to date…” but also reveals that its secret to success is a mixture of super resolution or photo binning (combining multiple RAW images into one) like in the Google Pixel 3, the new periscope lens and the ToF sensor.

The Huawei P30 series is now out and we’ve heard of its zoom capabilities. If you’re not up to speed, the Huawei P30 with a triple rear camera setup with 40MP + 16MP (ultra-wide angle) + 8MP (telephoto) sensors. Meanwhile, the Huawei P30 Pro is equipped with a quad rear camera setup with 40MP + 20MP (ultra-wide angle) + 8MP (telephoto) + a ToF sensor.

Remembering last year's  Huawei Mate 20 series and MateBook sales launch in Malaysia, Huawei Malaysia have confirmed that they want to bring the Huawei P30 series to fans and buyers even faster with 11 venues across Malaysia. With each sales venue confirmed to be held at a Huawei Experience Store, Kuala Lumpur alone will have P30 series sales launches in 2 locations.

As we near the global launch of the Huawei P30 series on 26 March 2019, Huawei Malaysia have confirmed that Malaysians will get the previously revealed Huawei Backup dual charger + 1TB external hard disk drive device worth ~RM425. While they haven't confirmed if we'll also be getting the Huawei Watch GT Active Edition and JBL Clip 2 Bluetooth speaker, they have hinted that Malaysians could also get the P30 series the same date as Singaporeans, which is 6 April 2019.

The Huawei P30 series launch will be happening tomorrow on the 26 March 2019 at 9PM(GMT+8), which will be taking place in Paris, France. That being said, many of you will surely question as to where can you catch the live stream of the launch itself.Thankfully, Huawei has passed us links to their official livestreams which will be happening on Facebook, Youtube as well as Twitter simultaneously. As far as what we know, the P30 Pro which is the flagship of the P30 series is expected to come with various photography improvements which feature up to 50X zoom and up to 409600 ISO and more.

We have gotten news that the Huawei P30 series could be available in Malaysia starting 6 April 2019, same time as Singapore. Unfortunately, there was no mention regarding the official price of the devices to be launched. That being said, those who are keen on getting the Huawei P30 series as soon as it launches locally could be awarded with the Huawei Backup which in an external 1TB hard drive that can be used to charge your phone and back-up data at the same time. Not only that, the P30 could be available in more locations during first day of sale.
