Back in January this year, the Huawei P50 Pro came to Malaysia first without any signs of the standard P50. Finally after four months, the Huawei P50 arrived in Cocoa Gold and Golden Black at the price of RM2999. 

After launching the nova 9 on 28 October in Malaysia, HUAWEI still has another device in store for the global market. However, it looks like it will not arrive until next year, and we're talking about the HUAWEI P50 4G.

The HUAWEI P50 series has finally arrived! As rumoured, the series will skip 5G this time due to the trade ban imposed by the US. However, the tech specs and the features of the devices might be enough for us to forget the fact that it doesn't support the latest telecommunication technology. Now, let's look at what P50 and P50 Pro bring to the market this time.

The highly-anticipated HUAWEI P50 series already has a launch date, and it's scheduled to be on 29 July. On that day, three devices including HUAWEI P50, P50 Pro, and P50 Pro+ might take turns being revealed to the public. Before that happens, HUAWEI has released an official teaser video today to let us have more information about the series' camera department.

It seems that a statement by mydrivers.com, it seems that Huawei could release a Huawei P50 series phone that’s equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset on 29 July 2021. While not much is known in regards to the Malaysia release date, it does give us a better idea of what to expect from the company in the near future.

Two weeks ago, we spotted the Huawei P50 on TENAA's database and it mentioned the device will come with HarmonyOS. Today, we found the same model number (Huawei JAD-AL50) that appeared on the 3C listing.

If everything goes well, the HUAWEI P50 series will be arriving at the end of July. Earlier, it was also reported that the 4G version of the device will use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, which came as quite a surprise. Now, the real-life images of the device are leaked showing something unexpected as well.

Yesterday, we've seen the news claiming that the upcoming HUAWEI P50 will be powered by an unreleased 4G variant of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset. Today, the device has been spotted on TENAA's database with HarmonyOS, further proving the leak.

The ban imposed by the U.S. on HUAWEI forbids the tech giant to have access to 5G technology from the country's companies. Interestingly, as 4G technology was not mentioned, HUAWEI is still allowed to purchase products from the U.S. that are using the previous generation mobile network. According to the latest report, the upcoming HUAWEI P50 will be using Qualcomm's 4G variant of the Snapdragon 888 chip.

The HUAWEI P50 was teased at the HarmonyOS launch event and many are excited about its arrival. Rumour has it, the device is going to be launched before September alongside the MatePad 11. Now, we've gotten new information saying that the P50 will be coming on 29 July.
