Earlier, it was reported that HUAWEI will be rolling out the stable version of its in-house operating system HarmonyOS in April after multiple beta tests being conducted in its home country. However, it looks like we'll have to wait for two more months as the president of HUAWEI Consumer Business Software Dr. Wang Chenglu stated that the OS will only be launched in June.

Looks like the protective casing that’s meant to fit the Huawei P50 series might have been spotted on gizmochina, confirming that the device will indeed come with two large camera sensors at the rear. With that in mind, the smartphone will be the first to come equipped with a large 1-inch Sony IMX800 image sensor at the rear.

It seems that the Huawei P50 renders has been spotted on voice.com showcasing the design, hinting that it will come with a similar design to the Huawei P50 Pro. While not much is known in regards to the Malaysia release date, it does give us a better idea of what to expect when it is available in the local market.

The HUAWEI P50 series is anticipated to launch on 17 April according to the previous rumour. Before that happens, a now-deleted Weibo account has leaked something interesting claiming that the device will be the first to have HarmonyOS pre-installed out of the box. The account also mentioned that the testing period of HarmonyOS 2.0 Beta 2 has been completed and the company is now moving on to Beta 3.

With no news from the US Government lifting the ban on Huawei anytime soon, the rumoured news of the Huawei P50 series is lacking and slow. However, there's a new piece of information that Huawei could launch the upcoming flagship on 17 April 2021.

The hardware in smartphones continues to evolve, becoming better as the years go on. In that sense, Samsung's rumoured 50MP ISOCELL GN2 mobile image sensor isn't the only one being worked on. Sony is also launching a new camera sensor for smartphones in 2021 called the Sony IMX800.

A few days ago, we got the renders leaked on the HUAWEI P50 full look design and also it will have two versions which either will run on Android and the other will be running on the in-house HarmonyOS. Today, a new leak on the tech specs is found on Weibo.

A few days ago, the renders of the HUAWEI P50 have shown up giving us a full look at the upcoming device. From there, we can see that the device might sport a curved screen with a punch-hole front-facing camera in the top middle. There is also a rectangular camera module at the rear with a coloured power button at the side. Today, the latest news has come claiming that the device will have two versions as one will come with Android while another runs the in-house HarmonyOS.
