Netflix has officially announced that there will be twenty-one Studio Ghibli movies coming to the streaming platform on 1 February, 1 March and 1 April 2020. These movies include several award-winning titles such as Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, My Neighbour Totoro and more.

All the news on digital tax has made many Malaysians sad this December. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be stopping yet. We've already heard of how Steam will be implementing digital tax for its platform earlier today and now Netflix has also announced that it will be revising its pricing for the Malaysian market.

ATTENTION! For those who are currently subscribed to any streaming service or cloud storage service, bear in mind that you will have to pay 6% more of the price starting from next year. We have actually noticed that the tax imposement would be coming to us from the budget report that was announced earlier this year. However, a recent G Suite email was sent to users to remind them that the 6% will be coming to haunt you sooner than you’ll ever realize.

First, WarnerMedia officially stated that popular sitcom Friends will be making a comeback, then Netflix will be collaborating with Nickelodeon for a multi-year deal for original animated shows. Another week has gone by but there's nothing really much to talk about in the local tech scene in Malaysia. I mean sure, Merdeka sales here and there, and Shopee is coming up with another promo sale period leading up to 9.9. You can experience Netflix’s first augmented-reality trailer of Stranger Things season 3 on Youtube, provided you have an Apple iPhone, iPod or iPad running on iOS 8 and above. The augmented-reality trailer has a background replacement feature, which lets the user take a Stranger Things themed selfie. The Stranger Things themed selfie can then be shared onto your favourite social media platform such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and more.

So here's a piece of interesting news, Netflix has just announced a new collaboration with Next Games, and they are working on a Stranger Things mobile game that's scheduled for 2020 release on both iOS and Android platforms for free.
