For the longest time, the Nintendo Switch Pro has been rumoured numerous times during the lockdown and it never happened. Switch fans have been wondering if it would ever be announced and we are here to tell you the bad news.

For the longest time, the Nintendo Switch Pro was a hot topic during the pandemic but never came to fruition. The Switch OLED got released last year instead, and we have reasons to believe that the pro variant is probably never going to happen.

We guess the rumours of a Nintendo Switch Pro or Switch 2 will never stop coming until the company actually launches one. Today, we might have gotten new proof about the existence of the next-generation hybrid gaming console with an email from an Nvidia employee. 

Although Nintendo has officially stated that it's not planning to launch any Pro variant of the Switch, the rumours about the more powerful hybrid gaming console are still going strong. Now, a new one claims that the Japanese video game company could eventually launch the Switch Pro towards the end of the year.

When Nintendo announced the Switch OLED, many people were disappointed. Sure, it has an improved display but that doesn't do much if you mostly play with the console docked. Fortunately, the Nintendo Switch Pro could still happen.

While not much is known in regards to the exact release date and local pricing, it does give us a better idea on what to expect when it is officially available in the global market.

For some Nintendo fans, a more powerful Switch console has long been something they wanted. There have been plenty of rumours of a Switch Pro too, claiming that Nintendo is already testing some prototypes and could launch it early next year. A new rumour now even claims that it could output 4K resolution.
