As always, the MWC 2019 is returning once again to Barcelona, Spain and will showcase multiple technologies from different brands. There are a TON of things to see there, but since we are a website that focuses mostly on smartphones, we have chosen our top 7 techs to look out in MWC 2019! So without further ado, let's get started!

How's is it going, my homies! It's been a while since we did our #NewsBytes but due to the recent Chinese New Year break, there wasn't so much news. So what's in the loop? Aside from the casual news below, there are a couple of interesting tech stuff to talk about - the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S10 series livestream has been announced, Energizer came out of nowhere with a 18000mAh + dual pop-up front camera smartphone, Xiaomi Mi 9 has been teased and might be revealed in MWC 2019, we got our first look at the vivo V15 Pro in Malaysia, and other minor stuff that isn't that important. 

As part of the first quarter of the year, the Mobile World Congress is held in Barcelona, Spain annually and most of the smartphone brands will definitely be there to show off what they have in store for us, such as OPPO's upcoming flagship for the first time in MWC 2019. We don't exactly know what is the phone's name, but we do have some key takeaways on the new unknown flagship from OPPO Malaysia so here's what we know so far. 

OPPO unveiled their latest camera technology yesterday, the 10X hybrid optical zoom. This isn’t surprising as they did tease the zoom before hand. They also unveiled the 5x precision optical zoom in 2017 so it's nice to see them progress with something better. 

Looks like OPPO will be showcasing its much anticipated 10x zoom tomorrow, 16th of January. It is speculated that the 10x lossless zoom would first be released on the OPPO F19 and F19 Pro. The info was shared in a black and white teaser poster with the date shared under what looks like a dome.

What's up, TechNavers. So as usual with the seasonal December period, the news is slow as ever but there are some interesting ones. Qualcomm has revealed the Snapdragon 855 so expect that to be featured on flagships a lot next year, new telco plans were also announced such as the Unlimited Hero P139 postpaid plan which is pretty awesome, same goes to the flexible Hotlink Postpaid Flex Plus plan. The ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M2 is already up on Shopee but no price tag yet, and the amount of 12.12 Promotion Sales You Should Check Out that's just around the corner!

The Snapdragon Technology Summit in Hawaii is something that many looked forward to due to the many rumours of the upcoming SoC that was in the works by Qualcomm. True enough, Qualcomm did unveil their latest addition to their flagship chips but it was not named Snapdragon 8150 as many initially thought but instead is named Snapdragon 855.

2019 is looking like the year of the foldable smartphones and OPPO has just confirmed that they too will join in on the bandwagon. They’ll be launching their foldable smartphone at MWC 2019 which will be happening at the end of February.

After Samsung and Huawei announced their development of the flexible smartphones, OPPO and Xiaomi has also recently announced their entrance into the flexible smartphone development as well based on a report by digitimes.com. It was reported that Xiaomi plans to use LG Panels for their upcoming bendable smartphone while there is no further information in regards to OPPO’s development.
