In case you missed it, OPPO Malaysia has announced that the upcoming Reno7 series 5G is on the way to Malaysia. The launching event has been confirmed to be on 22 February 2022 and the livestream event starts at 3 PM on OPPO Malaysia's Facebook page.

The OPPO Reno series has one shortest product lifecycles in the industry. OPPO launched the Reno6 here back in May 2021, but its successor launched just 6 months later in Nov 2021. Now, the OPPO Reno7 series is also coming to our shores.

In November 2021, OPPO launched its Reno7 series in China. It consisted of two models - the Reno7 and Reno7 Pro - with flat edges that look more elegant than its predecessors. However, sources claim that we might not be getting that design.

Since last month, there have been several rumours about the OPPO Reno7 series of smartphones. Sources even claimed that we can expect it to be out by the end of this month. And they're right because OPPO has just confirmed the launch date earlier today.

A few months ago, the OPPO Reno 6 Pro 5G had launched in the Malaysian market with a price tag of RM2999. Today, we spotted the live image and tech specs leaked of the OPPO Reno 7.

The OPPO Reno6 series only launched on May 2021, but the company is already looking to introduce the next generation. Sources found the main camera's spec for the OPPO Reno7 Pro last week, and now we have speculation for the specs of the standard model.
