Today, ASUS Malaysia made a short announcement that the ROG Phone 5 (8GB + 128GB) is having a limited-time promotion. It has already begun on 28 June and will end on 9 July 2021 while stocks last, where customers can get a complimentary ROG Cetra II Headset if they get the phone.

Last week, we reported some of the tech specs and key features of the ROG Phone 5 uploaded by DxOMark. Today, we got another leak through Geekbench. While the ROG Phone 3 was one of the first smartphones to have 16GB of RAM, the coming ROG Phone 5 is expected to offer 18GB RAM. 

News of the ROG Phone 5 has been coming in quickly. Just this week, it was rumoured that the device would be launched in March and the ASUS even confirmed the name. Now, the company has announced that the phone will indeed launch in March.

About two weeks back, the ROG Phone 5 was spotted on TENAA. At the time, it showed a device that looked different from the one that appeared in a live photo previously. Now, the latter has also popped up on TENAA, which proves that both variants exist.
