Over the last few months, there have been a few rumours about a new chipset from Samsung with AMD's GPU. This chipset was expected to be equipped on the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and unveiled this month. However, that might no longer be the case.

Samsung has released a new memory chip today and it's said to be a perfect fit for 5G low-cost devices. The new LPDDR5 uMCP (UFS-based MCP) is a multichip package that combines the company’s fastest LPDDR5 DRAM with the latest UFS 3.1 NAND flash in a single package. Currently, the product is the first such smartphone memory solution appearing in the industry.

On Tuesday this week, Samsung announced that it would be launching a new ISOCELL image sensor soon. This new sensor uses the technology from the ISOCELL GN2 that was introduced earlier this year. Well, the new ISOCELL JN1 is now officially revealed.

We all already know that AMD is participating in the development of Samsung's next flagship smartphone processor, Exynos 2200. Before it even gets released, the graphics performance of the upcoming product is already confirmed to beat Apple's A14 Bionic chip's.

Samsung will be launching a new camera sensor on 10 June. The Korean tech giant confirmed the news by posting a teaser on its Twitter account with the caption “ISOCELL for everyone. You deserve an awesome camera." Looking at it, the upcoming sensor might be made for lower-cost devices.

Just last week, there was news that Samsung would be providing various brands like Google with ultra-thin glass (UTG). As many of you know, this is what Samsung uses for its foldable smartphones. It's solid proof that these brands aim to make such devices.

Earlier, it was reported that Samsung will not present any new Galaxy Note devices this year. As the company has brought the S Pen support to Galaxy S21 Ultra and the upcoming Galaxy Fold 3 is expected to ship with one, fans are worried that they might never see new Note devices again. Surprisingly, the latest rumour has arrived by saying that the Galaxy Note series will make a comeback next year.

Back in January 2021, Samsung announced its new 108MP ISOCELL HM3, which was eventually added to the Galaxy S21 Ultra. But that's clearly not the only flagship that will be using the camera sensor. In fact, other brands may have it soon.

It seems that Samsung has recently filed a trademark with the European Intellectual Property Office for the name “Z Slide”, which could hint that there could be a smartphone with slide-out display capabilities. While not much is known in regards to which smartphone will come with the aforementioned feature, it does give us a better idea of what to expect when the devices are available in the global market.

During the Google I/O event, Google mentioned that the upcoming Android 12 smartphone comes equipped with a feature that lets you unlock your car using an Android smartphone. While not much is known in regards to the exact release date, it does give us a better idea of what to expect from the device as soon as it is available globally.
