In conjunction with the announcement made by U Mobile on their new partnership last week, U Mobile Sdn Bhd has made an official partnership with Facebook, Netflix and Twitter by hosting a house party today that allows guest to be "transported" into the worlds of TV Shows, Videos and Live Events. With 'Celebrate Originality' as the theme, the telco wanted to highlight the hours of original content that their customers can enjoy with the addition of Facebook, Netflix and Twitter onto its already extensive list of Video-Onz Partners.

Today, U Mobile Sdn Bhd is proud to announce that their customers will be able to enjoy unlimited video streaming 24 hours every day with free data from their Video-Onz service for videos on Netflix, Facebook and Twitter. Yes, that's right; U Mobile customers will never have to worry about their data usage anymore when they stream shows and movies on Netflix, go live on Facebook Live and upload or stream videos hosted on Facebook and Twitter.

Just only a few days ago U Mobile introduced their U Data Roam plan for frequent travelers. Now they give us another bunch of roaming deals, but this time, it is for their subscriber of Hero P70, i90, i130, UD95 and UD135 postpaid plans. With the U Mobile Data Backpack you will be able to use roaming for free in 12 countries, at the expense of your current data plan with no extra charges. You can refer to the table below for the list of the country and the preferred roaming operator of the country that you might travel to.

U Mobile releases a new roaming plan for frequent travelers out there. If you are a U Mobile subscriber, it does not matter whether if you are on the prepaid or postpaid plan, you will be entitled to their new U Data Roam plan for only RM10/day. The promotion period will last from 7 April 2016 until 31 December 2016. This new plan will include a high-speed unlimited data usage but currently, it is only available in 12 countries as per the table displayed below.

Upping the ante again, U Mobile may be increasing their Hero Postpaid plan's data from 7GB to 15GB with unlimited calls for just RM70 a month. The promotion starts on 15 March 2016 with the extra 8GB of data being offered until 30 June 2016. This does mean that after 3 months and a half, the data will go back to 7GB but it should some good news to existing and new Hero Postpaid customers. The news comes courtesy of Jasmine Lee, U Mobile's CMO and so far isn't updated on the official site just yet but we should know for sure tomorrow.
