Who doesn’t watch videos on YouTube? Some of the users even subscribe YouTube Premium to enjoy the watching experience without ads. Here the company - Google have rolled out some new experimental features for the YouTube Premium subscribers that are still under development.

In the last few months, one of the apps that Google has been putting quite a bit of work would be YouTube Music. The company has been adding or updating a lot of features in the recent months and has recently released a new update, which lets you play songs you've saved on the cloud on smart speakers.

In another interview session by YouTuber MKBHD (Marques Keith Brownlee), his latest one was with Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Facebook. In that nearly 20 minute video, MKBHD just had to ask him about what "phone is in his pocket right now" and Mark just revealed that he is a big fan of Samsung.

As many of you already know, TikTok is already banned in India alongside other over 100 mobile apps. From a business point of view, this is a big loss as India used to be one of the largest markets for TikTok. Google has been working quite hard to push YouTube Music in recent months. The team working on it just released a new update yesterday, with new features that focus on improving playlists. To achieve that, artificial intelligence (AI) and other collaborative measures were employed.

Based on a statement by comparitech, it seems that around 235 million profile data from accounts originating from TikTok, Instagram, as well as Youtube, have been exposed through the use of scraping. For those who are not familiar with scraping, it is an automated process that collects user information from public webpages from the aforementioned social media platforms.

What is YouTube Super Stream and why should you care? Well, before we get to that, it seems that Google Malaysia, Astro, Media Prima, Muse and WebTVAsia are collaborating together to present this programme. It's set to schedule tomorrow (15 August) until 16 September for Malaysians to binge-watch a bunch of contents which include TV dramas, anime, movies, and many many more for free.

In this new wave, hackers change the channel names of hacked YouTube account and live-stream trending topics to spread their Bitcoin scam.

Based on a statement by theverge.com, it seems that Netflix could allow viewers to watch shows and movies from as slow as 0.5x all the way up to 1.5x speed very soon. While not much is known in regards to when this feature will be available to Malaysians, we do know that viewers will be required to opt-in to this feature whenever they’re watching a new series or movie so that they won’t accidentally watch at a slightly slower or faster speed.
