Most of you know that Samsung ships two different variants of its flagship Galaxy S22 series in different regions. One of them uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon chip, while the other one uses the company's own Exynos chip. However, you might not know that doing so will affect the camera's performance in those two variants, giving them different results when it comes to photography.

Previously, Samsung was expected to launch the Exynos 2200 chipset on 11 January 2022. When that didn't happen, some worried that it might not be available on the Galaxy S22 series. However, Samsung has now confirmed that this isn't the case.

Last year, it was rumoured that Samsung would be launching the Exynos 2200 soon. The company's new chipset was expected to be featured in the upcoming Galaxy S22 series smartphones. But a well-known source claimed that it may no longer be the case.

Samsung has been teasing us about an event that is happening on 19 November. With the taglines and captions used, rumours about the upcoming Exynos 2200 chip's launch were roaming around. However, Samsung has confirmed today through its official Twitter account that the date is not for the flagship chip's launch.

Based on a statement by gizchina, it seems that AMD could start manufacturing mobile chipsets in collaboration with MediaTek in the near future. While there is no official information in regards to when will AMD release their first chipset, it does give us a better idea of what to expect from them in the near future.

It's starting to look like Samsung's AMD-powered chipset could live up to the hype. In recent tests, the Exynos 2200 handily beaten the iPhone 12 Pro's A14 Bionic chip in GFXBench. Now, another benchmark has proven that Samsung's chipset outperforms Apple's chip.

Much is expected of Samsung's next chipset. That's not surprising, especially when it performed even better than Apple's A14 Bionic chipset. Now, a new report claims that the new Exynos chipset will also outperform Mali GPUs.

Remember the piece of Exynos news from yesterday? It's said that Samsung is working on a new Exynos chipset with AMD GPU that will be used in laptops. A reliable source has said that this is the Exynos 2200 chipset, which will also be used in other devices.

Based on a statement by gizmochina, it seems that Samsung might be keen on releasing up to 3 new Exynos chipsets in the year 2021. The 3 new chipsets will include the 800-series, 1200-series, as well as 2200-series chips which will most likely be available on mid-range smartphones, high-end smartphones, as well as flagship smartphones respectively.

When the Exynos 2100 chipset was announced, many were sceptical about its performance. But recent reports prove that the chipset has been a pleasant surprise so far. Now, sources claim that Samsung wants to take a step further on the GPU side with a partnership with AMD.
