News & Reviews:   OPPO Foldable Phone

Way back in December 2020, it was rumoured that OPPO would launch a foldable phone in 2021. In March, sources claimed that the device would be released in June but that didn't happen. This time around, it's believed that the device will launch soon.

With the advent of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 5G and Galaxy Z Flip3 5G, more people have access and better affordability to get them. Foldable phones aren't exactly mainstream yet but OPPO may be the next player to release its own foldable phone. According to a leak by Digital Chat Station, it may be arriving sooner than later.

You already have seen the Samsung Galaxy Fold, Huawei Mate X, and some concept foldable phones such as the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4, Apple iPhone Z, Motorola RAZR, and even a foldable PC by Lenovo. We now welcome the latest rumour from OPPO coming up with its own prototype.

We have been talking on how 2017 will be Samsung’s launch year for their foldable smartphone but we have yet to see any real life examples on how they will implement it. OPPO just leapt over the competition as they have a working prototype running – and they have video too!
