It's that time of the year again, and Epic Games has already begun its annual video game giveaways. Last Friday, the first giveaway was Hogwarts Legacy, which is a well-received AAA game based on the Harry Potter universe. While gamers speculate what the rest of the games could be, a recent leak has surfaced online detailing what could be a massive free game giveaway lineup on the Epic Games Store for December 2025.

Epic Games has officially settled its lawsuit with Samsung over the “Auto Blocker” feature found on Galaxy devices.

The Epic Game Store for Android has been around since November 2024. It is an alternative app store/app store to the Google Play Store that requires sideloading. The offer for iOS devices is limited to European countries only. Most recently, Epic has launched a weekly free app program similar to the offer on the Epic Game Launcher for PC.

The Epic Games Store officially made its mobile debut back in August 2024. Now, Epic Games finally has something more platform-relevant to announce.

In case you didn't know, the Epic Games app is available to download on iOS and Android in European regions. Epic Games just announced that its expansion will go further as it has partnered with Telefónica, one of the largest telecommunications service providers worldwide to make the app more accessible.

Earlier this month, Google lost its court case against Epic Games and was ordered to open the Google Play Store to third parties. But Google wants to delay that by appealing for time to implement changes.

The Epic Games lawsuit ended with a California judge ordering Google to open the Play Store to third parties for three years. Under this directive, the Play Store would have to offer competing apps from stores like the Epic Games Store. At the same time, these third-party stores would have to be given access to all the apps that exist in the Play Store.

The average gamer may recognise Epic Games as a company that loves to give out free games. But if you're not into PC games, you probably remember Epic Games only for its lawsuit against Apple and Google a few years ago. Now, the company has filed a lawsuit against Google and Samsung.
