This makes the Honor Play a good and affordable device for the performance you’re getting while playing mobile game titles like PlayerUnknown’s Battleground (PUBG) Mobile and Mobile Legends Bang Bang but for now, we'll be focusing on PUBG Mobile.

If you’re a Huawei Mate 10 Pro or P20 Pro user and you’ve been waiting since August for that GPU Turbo update to arrive, finally you can get downloading as the update has rolled out (or at least it has for our devices). For the Mate 10 Pro you can expect a 339MB download with GPU Turbo and the Game Suite for better overall gaming along with the usual Google Security updates. Other phones should also be getting the update soon as well.

While GPU Turbo has arrived for the Honor Play, a new schedule has appeared indicating that the Huawei P20, Huawei P20 Pro, Huawei Mate 10, Huawei Mate 10 Pro, Huawei Nova 3 and Huawei Nova 3i could be getting their GPU Turbo updates in August 2018. In addition, the schedule also indicates that GPU Turbo will also support both PUBG Mobile and Mobile Legends for more stable and smoother graphics performance.

Huawei has announced that the GPU Turbo Technology is now available on the Huawei Nova 3i starting today. The GPU Turbo Technology increases performance during mobile gaming such as PUBG Mobile, Asphalt 9 as well as as Rules Of Survival giving the user a much more immersive and smooth experience as they are consuming the gaming content mentioned.

While we're getting the Huawei Nova 3 launch in Malaysia tomorrow, Huawei officially announced the Nova 3 priced at 2990CNY(~RM1808) and Nova 3i starting from 1999CNY(~RM1205) today for China. Featuring flagship features like last year's Kirin 970 chipset with AI-driven functionality for the Nova 3, the midrange Kirin 710 chipset for the Nova 3i, notched fullHD full view displays, quad cameras and support for Huawei's upcoming GPU Turbo, the devices seem to be Huawei's answer for conquering the midrange.

After the announcement of Huawei's GPU Turbo, slides from mydrivers have appeared indicating that the first Huawei smartphone to get the GPU boosting technology may be the Huawei Mate 10 series on top of other updates. As a refresher, GPU Turbo increases the efficiency of the GPU coupled together with EMUI to help make the overall device 60% more efficient and reduce power consumption by up to 30% as well.
