Nokia, the smartphone brand now under the tutelage of HMD Global has announced that it will be launching a new device next week. Taking to its official Mobile India X account, Nokia said that the smartphone will debut on Wednesday (6 September).

Just a few hours ago, Nokia Mobile posted a teaser on its Twitter page about a new tablet. Indeed, the rumour last week turns out to be true and as you can see in the picture, there's a tablet placed beside the classic Nokia 3310. Here's everything we know about it so far.

Which device has seen a notable revival this year? If you ask me, it would have to be the tablet. There are a few companies that joined the tablet business for the first time this year, greatly increasing the options available in the market. In fact, Nokia could be making one too.

Nokia is not as popular as it once was, let alone ranked in the top 5 most popular smartphone brands. But why is that?

The Nokia 6 (2018), Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco have been officially launched in India along with prices starting from INR 16999 (~RM1010), INR 25999 (~RM1545), and INR 49999 (~RM2973) respectively. While we have no Malaysia pricing details yet, it does indicate a rough range for pricing, so the Nokia 6 could go for RM1099, while the Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco could come in at RM1599 and RM2999 respectively. 

On 25 February 2018, HMD Global will be having another MWC 2018 conference in Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Arts and have started sending invitations (no, we didn't get one lol). With this, Nokia is probably launching something new for the market, could we see a new Nokia 9? Or maybe a bunch of mid-range 2018 phone variants just like the Nokia 6 (2018)?

Earlier we released a news about the Nokia 6 (2018) being leaked before the official launch today, but it's now officially revealed and it's pretty much the same thing that we wrote this morning. Nokia 6 (2018) will be revealed pretty soon but apparently, someone got too excited and decided to leak the phone's tech-specs and press renders online before HMD Global could do so. Thanks to a Chinese retailer Suning, we got ourselves a good look at the phone and wow, fantastic baby.

According to TENAA, China's official regulator association, it seems that HMD Global will be releasing one of the first new phones of 2018. The phone that will be released is the Nokia 6 (2018) and it will be revealed on 5 January, most likely in China first since its predecessor first made its debut in China in December 2016.

It's not even 2018 yet and we just saw some online rumours about Nokia. Apparently, Nokia and HMD Global are going to release a new Nokia 6 variant simply called Nokia 6 (2018) and it has already received 3C certification from TENAA from China.
