At CES 2020 last month, one of the exciting bits of news was AMD announcing the Ryzen 4000 Mobile series processors. Back then, few thought that AMD would more than the standard Ryzen 3, 5 and 7 mobile CPUs. But in a recent leak, there's allegedly an upcoming Lenovo laptop that may house a Ryzen 9 CPU.

After more or less dominating the desktop CPU market in 2019, AMD could well be putting a lot of its focus in doing the same for the graphics card space this year. This speculation was fueled by Mithun Chandrasekhar, AMD's Radeon Product Management Lead, who claimed that Big Navi could be the game-changer in 4K PC gaming.

At the Consumer Electronics Show this year, AMD announced that it will be launching laptops equipped with the new Mobile Ryzen 4000 series chips. The Ryzen 7 4800H is supposed to be the highest performer and now we have a leak comparing benchmarks scores for the chip, compared to a few others.

Many PC gamers are excited for what AMD has in store this year, especially for the GPU side. There have been talks that a high-end GPU labelled 'Big Navi' is expected this year and AMD CEO Lisa Su hinted this during CES 2020. But there are no doubts now that she's confirmed it in a recent video interview.

A new rumour has surfaced in the PC graphics card space, claiming the existence of a new GPU that beats Nvidia's current top GPU. Specifically, it indicates that the unknown part could be an AMD GPU that can outperform the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti in the OpenVR GPU Benchmark.

It looks like 2020 is not a year in which AMD would be resting on its laurels. If reports from Taiwan are to be believed, AMD CEO Lisu Su will take to the stage at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2020 to reveal the company's next CPU microarchitecture - Zen 3.

We previously got some news that AMD could be adding a new feature to its software suite. That news has now been confirmed by AMD with the release of the new AMD Radeon Software Adrenalin 2020 Edition. The software suite comes with a brand new UI and features, including the Radeon Boost feature.

In this week's tech news recap, Samsung stole the show by unpacking the latest Samsung Galaxy Note10 and Note10+! Compared with the predecessor, it has several new features such as the S Pen Air Action, AR Doodle, PlayGalaxy Link, 3D Scanner and many more. Samsung Malaysia quickly soon announced the official local price starting from RM3699 and the series are now on pre-order which sold out quickly. Dayum son! Besides that, HONOR Malaysia shortly announced the HONOR 20 Pro price for RM2299 (not too shabby).
