Hey ASUS fans, the company has started its RAYA SPECIALS and it's not just some promo sales for the time being, but the new slashed price will be permanent (NANI?!). Of course, we aren't talking about the latest ZenFone series but rather for the previous generation ZenFone Max Plus, ZenFone 4 Max Pro and ZenFone Max 4.

The recently released ASUS ZenFone Max Plus with its 5.7-inch 18:9 aspect ratio display can be bought for RM499 tomorrow at the new opening of DirectD Digital Mall Kajang tomorrow at 8am (the queue starts at 6am). Looking at the Facebook page, a number of other smartphones going for this promotion also jump out including the Honor 8, Moto M and the ASUS ZenFone 4 Max Pro.

ASUS recently announced their first 18:9 aspect ratio or fullview display phone with the ASUS Pegasus 4S courtesy of GizmoChina. Pegasus is their ZenFone series for China, and since it packs in a 4030 mAh battery, we suppose it will be part of the ASUS ZenFone 4 Max series when or if it arrives here in Malaysia. It will be available in China from 9 November 2017 but no Malaysia release date or pricing details yet.

Granted, Samsung is rather late to the game with their dual rear camera smartphones but the Samsung Galaxy J7+ is one of the first few Samsung midrangers to come with 13MP + 5MP dual rear cameras after the first Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Surprise, surprise, it also packs in flagship features like Face recognition to unlock your phone, 4GB RAM, Always-on Display and the Live Focus camera function, but at an RRP of RM1599 it is nearly edging into flagship territory. The ASUS ZenFone 3 Max offered a big 4000 mAh battery in a sleek metal body that did just enough for most of Malaysia’s entry-level masses. Now, as the new ASUS ZenFone 4 range comes to the market we’ve had the chance to try out the ASUS ZenFone 4 Max Pro ZC554KL smartphone. It features a bigger 5000 mAh battery, 16MP + 5MP dual rear cameras with a wide angle combo, a 16MP front camera with it’s own LED flash and many other improvements in the same metal body as before. Aside from the ASUS ZenFone 4 and ZenFone 4 Pro, ASUS also introduced the new ZenFone 4 Max Pro, ZenFone 4 Selfie and Selfie Pro. Fans of huge battery and selfie devices should be happy to know that these three devices are coming into Malaysia with a price tag of RM1099, RM1299 and RM1799 respectively on 25 August 2017. The pre-order for the three devices will start between 17 August 2017 to 24 August 2017 and customers who pre-order either one of the devices in that period will get an ASUS ZenPower 10050 mAh powerbank and more awesome goodies from ASUS Malaysia (while stocks last). You can pre-order at Lazada, Shopee and 11street.

Today, ASUS is proud to present five brand new ASUS ZenFone 4 series in Taipei, Taiwan. The five devices are the ASUS ZenFone 4 (ZE554KL), ZenFone 4 Pro (ZS551KL), ZenFone 4 Max Pro (ZC554KL), ZenFone 4 Selfie (ZD553KL), and the ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro (ZD552KL). Let's first go through the ZenFone 4 and 4 Pro as both smartphones will be the last two to come into Malaysia.
