What's uppppp TechNaversss! NewBytes is back and it's gonna be our first 2019 edition! It's a bit late but we had a slow startup and now we are picking up some steam. There were plenty of things happening over the past three weeks, the most notable one would be the #10YearsChallenge "conspiracy theory", CES 2019 also happened over the week before, and many many smartphones were released such as Huawei's first Punch Fullview phone - Nova 4, the budget-friendly HONOR 10 Lite and HONOR Band 4 series, the magnetic slider Xiaomi Mi MIX 3, the rather late Razer Phone 2 and finally, Samsung also announced the upcoming Galaxy S10 launching date in San Francisco, California.

Ho ho ho, it's December already! There isn't much news to talk about over the past week, though, news are getting quieter by the days and all we got was just some rumours here and there about next year's smartphone. Well, okay, there are two products which look pretty cool - the DJI Osmo Pocket and Nubia Red Magic Mars gaming smartphone.

LG Electronics recently announced three new additions to it's current LG G Pad 8.3 tablet. These include the LG G Pad 7.0, G Pad 8.0 and G Pad 10.1. These tablets will offer 7-inch, 8-inch and 10.1-inch screen size options for various users. So far, there aren't any detailed tech specs but in terms of features these new G Pad tablets will offer UX features like QPair 2.0 and Knock Code along with some multimedia features as well. The new G Pad tablets are set for unveiling during the MedPI 2014 expo from 13 May 2014 to 16 May 2014. No news on Malaysia pricing or release dates yet so stay tuned for more updates.

Confirming recent rumours that it would stop using the "Optimus" brand name for it's line of premium smartphones, the upcoming LG Optimus G2 will now be known as the LG G2 instead. The confirmation comes straight from LG Electronics themselves with a relevant press release from their LG Korea site. The press release also confirmed some tech specs of the upcoming LG G2 which include:
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor
- LTE-A support
