The latest version of macOS, Monterey, had arrived last week. However, it looks like it might not be an attractive update to some users as they complain that the OS update is bricking their old Macs. Recently, a surge of users took the issue onto various social platforms revealing that their Mac devices are unusable after installing the update.

Today, Apple has begun a Tech Talks 2021 event for developers where more than 100 live sessions and 1,500 office hours are running over the next eight weeks. This event is an opportunity for developers to get connected with Apple experts to learn more about new technologies, receive guidance as well as share feedback about the App Store experience. 

For many users, the announcement of Windows 11 may or may not be exciting. But if you're in the macOS camp, you probably more excited about the new macOS announced at WWDC. Not a problem, Apple isn't about to lose out and has been hosting beta tests for the macOS Monterey.

Quite a few years back, there was a cute little mobile game called Flappy Bird. Regardless of its alleged plagiarism, the game was difficult but strangely addictive. Now, someone has actually made the game playable again on a new platform.

Today, Apple has officially announced that the annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) will be held from the 7th until the 11th of June 2021. As expected, it will be a livestream event and it's free for all developers. Like every WWDC, we shall be expecting news about iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS and tvOS. 

Software updates are rarely smooth sailing. For example, macOS Big Sur users reported an update turned their MacBooks into bricks back in November 2020. This time around, it would seem that multiple users are running into a screensaver bug on their Mac PCs.

When Apple launched its new Apple M1 chip powered MacBooks, it was confirmed that the new PCs will come with the new macOS Big Sur. Now, Apple has officially made its latest operating system available to all Apple users. Along with the new OS is a slew of changes, which we'll briefly describe below.

Nothing in this world is 100% secured. Even Apple has its fair share of exploits and the latest one could be a major one. Reports claim that security researchers have managed to hack Apple's T2 security chip for new Macs.

Back in June, Apple confirmed that it was making the transition from Intel CPUs to ARM-based chips for its Mac PCs. This includes the MacBook laptops, which many have claimed will feature the A14X Bionic chipset. It's still unknown whether Apple would hold an event to launch the new laptops, but a new report confirms that the 12-inch MacBook will be the first to get the new chip.

Last week, Apple announced that it will be terminating Epic Games' developer account. It was likely retaliation to the latter submitting a lawsuit after Apple had removed Fortnite from the Apple App Store. Microsoft has now decided to throw in its support for Epic Games, stating that termination of a developer account will hurt other game creators that rely on Unreal Engine.
