Since it is a maximum zoom on both devices, it's difficult to judge actual picture quality but the Galaxy S9 image on the right clearly beats out the Galaxy S8 on the left. Samsung Galaxy S8/S8 Plus win EISA Best Smartphone 2017-2018 award together as their "do-it-all" devicesLast Updated: Aug 15, 2017
In contrast to some other EISA 2017-2018 award winners, the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus both won the Best Smartphone EISA 2017-2018 award together for their do-it-all capabilities. While there is mention of the bezel-less Infinity Display, iris scanner and new Bixby voice assistant, there isn't any single feature that has been particularly highlighted or focused on, except perhaps that the 12MP rear camera more or less remains the same (yes, they have a better camera algorithm technology, but it is basically the same hardware). Regardless, these "formidable do-it-all" devices were also affected by the recent price drop and are available from RM2595 (Galaxy S8, RRP: RM3299) and RM2899 (Galaxy S8 Plus, RRP: RM3699).
