News & Reviews:   Xiaomi Mi Mix 4

The Xiaomi Mi Mix series has always been Xiaomi’s most innovative line and we can expect the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 to be the same. The device has been rumoured to be the world’s first 108MP camera smartphone and may be launched on the 24th of September.

Some of you may have heard about the 108MP ISOCELL Bright HMX sensor by now. It first surfaced in early August 2019 by Xiaomi, which was manufactured by Samsung and while the company is keeping a tight lip on what phone will be integrating this, XDA Developers has some ideas.

After teasing what is arguably the largest megapixel mobile camera sensor yet, Samsung have officially unveiled their 108MP ISOCELL Bright HMX 0.8μm mobile image sensor. The image sensor is a super large 1/1.33-inch in size (great for low light) but also sports Tetracell technology for brighter 27MP images and Smart-ISO which intelligently selects ISO to improve pixel saturation (more vivid images). Coming later in August 2019, it is expected to be available first in a Xiaomi smartphone, perhaps the upcoming Mi Mix 4?

The Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 is a smash hit thanks to the rather simple slider mechanic for a true fullscreen experience. It's still one of our favourite phones this year and it's a no brainer than Xiaomi will be working on the fourth edition. Recently, Xiaomi has submitted a new patent to the State Intellectual Property Office and it looks like the Mi MIX 4 in the making.

You already have seen the Samsung Galaxy Fold, Huawei Mate X, and some concept foldable phones such as the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4, Apple iPhone Z, Motorola RAZR, and even a foldable PC by Lenovo. We now welcome the latest rumour from OPPO coming up with its own prototype.

Four upcoming flagship devices appeared on Alipay’s smartphone rental page in China earlier today. Among the devices listed were the OPPO Reno, Huawei P30, Huawei Mate X and the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4.

 Xiaomi has just revealed their 100W fast charging for smartphones called Super Charge Turbo. In a Weibo post, President and co-founder of Xiaomi stated that the technology can charge a smartphone from 0-100% in just 17 minutes.
