Back when realme launched the X50 series in February 2020, some were hoping for a more affordable lite version of the phone. It looks like there is going to be one after all, as a new rumour suggests that there is a realme X50 'Youth Edition'. Fancy name aside, this is essentially meant to be the lite variant of the series.

If news of a potential realme smart TV and smartwatches weren't enough for you, how about a new flagship smartphone? Since it's the Mobile World Congress (MWC 2020) and realme has confirmed it will be doing a global launch, a new smartphone is definitely par for the course.

The realme X50 5G has been a hit of the town since December last year with all the leaks on the camera design, the battery capacity, the cooling system and other tech specs. Today, just a day before the official announcement, TEENA listing has updated the complete specs sheet of the device.

With just 4 more days to the official announcement of the realme X50 5G on 7 January, another teaser was posted by the company’s CEO, Madhav Sheth. According to sources, the phone will have a punch-hole selfie camera design on the front and a long-lasting battery life of two days. Today, the teaser images focused on the rear quad-camera setup with a glary snowfall color design. 

The realme X50 5G was confirmed with the Snapdragon 765G chipset that comes with an integrated 5G modem onboard earlier this month at the Qualcomm Summit. Today, realme X50 5G was unveiled to have 2 days of battery life by Wang Wei Darek, realme China’s product manager.

Realme is slowly revealing its first 5G smartphones such as the tech specs and the design of the realme X50 5G since last week. Today, the company has revealed its coming colling system on the smartphone.

Since the launch of the realme 5 series, realme XT and realme X2 Pro, the company has gained its stardom in the smartphone industry. To keep the pace up, realme is expected to debut its first 5G smartphone named as the realme X50 5G  in China this month.
