As you may have heard, Samsung got into trouble due to the Game Optimization Service (GOS) app throttling controversy. In order to rectify the issue, the company has announced plans to develop a new Application Processor (AP) exclusively for the Samsung Galaxy phone lineup.

This time, the company just announced the industry's first 14-nanometre (nm) based 16GB Low Power Double Data Rate 5X (LPDDR5X) DRAM. This was designed to be compatible with future service applications such as 5G, AI and the metaverse.

It's scheduled to be live on 20 October 2021 and in terms of Malaysia's timing, it will be 10 PM. Early this morning, Samsung has finally confirmed the next Galaxy Unpacked event on its multiple official social pages. As expected, the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked will kick off on 11 August 2021 on the official Samsung website. For Malaysia, it will start at 10 PM.

Just last night, Samsung was streaming the Unbox & Discover live and unveiled their latest 2021 smart TV lineup. Besides the TVs, they also unveiled new monitors and soundbars which is catering to the consumers who are staying at home during this pandemic period. In this article, we will be focusing more on smart TVs. 

In this short announcement, Samsung announced that there will be a new preview of their Unbox and Discover event. It will be streamed live on the Samsung Newsroom Malaysia, Samsung.com and their official YouTube channel on 2 March tomorrow, at 10 AM EST. That's 11 PM in Malaysia time.

Besides the new Samsung Exynos 990 and Exynos Modem 5123 chipset unveiled at the Samsung Tech Day event, Samsung has also announced that they have begun mass producing their own 12GB LPDDR4X UFS-based multichip package (uMCP). Although 12GB smartphones are already on the rise, this one is different as it's made for mid-range devices as well.
