This week there wasn't any major event or device that stood out in tech, but we did see notable new entries with the announcement of the Samsung Galaxy C5 and C7 smartphones while Xiaomi launched their affordable 4K video recording Mi Drone. Pebble announced some new wearables and the rumours were rife as usual but the more notable one included that the honor 5C could be coming to Malaysia next month while something better and more beautiful would be coming from honor in Q3.

In local news, the Flash Plus 2 made its Malaysian debut alongside the ASUS Republic of Gamers Strix GL502 gaming laptop. U Mobile announced that they were the first to market with WiFi Calling, while Samsung pushed Malaysian media and their Samsung Galaxy S7 edge to the extreme. Samsung Malaysia also released the Galaxy Tab A 2016 for Malaysia and held sales for their 2016 SUHD TVs along with bringing in the pink gold Galaxy S7 edge. The Huawei P9 and P9 lite went on sale during the weekend with a lot of freebies.

On the review side, things were rather quiet with just an unboxing and hands-on video of the Vivo V3Max but we're set to get the Huawei P9 and a bunch of other phones and devices pretty soon so wait a bit and stay tuned to TechNave.com.
