Not too long ago, the POCO X3 NFC was released in early September and it killed the smartphone industry (again). Not because of its mid-range tech specs but rather its affordable price that offers great value for money. I still fondly remember when waiting for the price announcement during the live stream, and when it was official, my media friends and I lost our minds. The price is really good, but is it worth using it? Without beating around the bush too much, here is our review of the POCO X3 NFC.

The POCO X3 NFC features a 6.67-inch FHD+ LCD DotDisplay, with up to 120Hz refresh rate, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. It also features a Snapdragon 732G chipset, 6GB of RAM, and up to 128GB of internal storage. If you think this is not enough for your daily uses, you may slot in the MicroSD card that goes up to 256GB.

It seems that the POCO M2 has recently unveiled in India, and the device is priced at INR10999 (~RM620) for the 6GB + 64GB variant while the 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM starts from INR12499 (~RM704). While not much is known in regards to the Malaysia release date, we can expect the device to be available in the local market within a few months.

Based on a statement by gizmochina.com, it seems that the tech specs, as well as features of the POCO X3 NFC, may have been leaked giving us a better idea on what to expect when it is officially unveiled. While the official unveiling of the smartphone will be held at 8PM on 7 September 2020, there is no news on the pricing for now.

A few days ago, Poco confirmed that it has decided to launch the Poco M2, two months after it first launched the Poco M2 Pro. Some of the device's tech specs have been confirmed in a series of Twitter posts and as expected, it's mostly not too different from the Pro model.

After dropping the POCO M2 Pro back in July, the brand is now going to launch the vanilla POCO M2 on 8 September, which is the date before the POCO X3 NFC makes its global debut.

It seems that a Twitter user @anguskhng recently posted a bunch of tweets hinting that the upcoming POCO X3 smartphone is expected to come equipped with a 64MP rear camera, as well as fast charging. Other than that, there’s no news on the release date, local pricing, and exact tech specs for now.
