Nikon has recently updated its Coolpix lineup with a new superzoom camera called the Nikon Coolpix P900. This particular device features 83x zoom putting almost every other high zoom point and shoot cameras to shame. The 83x zoom on the P900 has a range from 24mm up to 2000mm. It is a pretty impressive feat to incorporate such a high zoom on a compact point and shoot camera. You can even take things a bit further, by going up to 166x zoom with its digital Dynamic Fine Zoom feature. There will be a 16MP CMOS camera onboard which supports continuous shoot up to 7fps. The camera is even good for action shoot as it has a shutter lag time of just 0.12second at wide angle and 0.75 seconds at its maximum telephoto focal length. It's built-in Dual Detect Optical VR stabilization tech reduces blue via shake to a great extent. Other important features of the device include scene mode, filter mode, macro mode, 1080p video recording with stereo audio, zoom microphone etc. The new Nikon Coolpix P900 will be available for sale from April 2015 for a price tag of $600 (RM2178). No Malaysia release dates or pricing details have been revealed for now but we expect it to come soon.

The first glasses-free 3D handset is finally upon us and after months of waiting to see what the fuss about it was, we have our very own LG Optimus 3D to review for you. LG has been bringing some great, quality handsets to market and the Optimus 3D steps it up a notch with a new dual-core processor and stereoscopic cameras.
3D may be nothing more than a gimmick right now, but it’s still one of the most interesting technologies to see implemented into a handset these days. The super high-resolution displays found on devices today are nice, but the novelty wears off after a while. You can grow accustom to the 3D technology implemented into the Optimus 3D, but some may take it over a Retina or qHD display any day.

The LG Optimus Black is a smartly designed Android phone that features a nice-looking display, a simple and clean user interface, and battery life that would make some far-more-expensive smartphones envious.
I spent a day using the phone and found it to be dependable and easy to use, despite the fact that its hardware and features are far from top-of-the-line among Android phones.
The phone's single-core processor was sufficient for the modest tasks I tried to perform using the phone's Android 2.2 (Froyo) OS. LG says that the Optimus is easy to upgrade to Android 2.3 (Gingerbread).

LG announced the world’s first smartphone powered by a Nvidia Tegra2 processor. At CES 2011 , several handset makers announced products based on the Tegra2 but this is the first smartphone or super-smart phone to hit the market. Lets see how the device meets our expectations.
LG Optimus 2X - Hardware:
The first thing you would notice about the phone is the huge 4 inch display which has great clarity and color reproduction. The display runs on a 800x480 px resolution. The left and right edges of the display have a minor curve towards the end and its nice to use.
Although the phone is made of plastic for the most part, it does not feel cheap like other phones like the Samsung Galaxy S. The phone is certainly big compared to other devices but since this is the world’s first dual core smartphone, we are not complaining.[ Read More ]
