The introduction of the new Huawei P9 has taken the internet by storm, most notably the two rear Leica cameras with 12MP and f/2.2 aperture for each, it's designed to take colour images and the latter for monochrome photography. But how does it exactly work on the inside? This time, not by iFixit but IT168, a China-tech base site has shared their findings by tearing down the P9.

So we already saw the Huawei P9, P9 Plus and P9 Lite, if you feel there's something missing, you're not alone. That's right, the P9 Max is nowhere to be seen until today that is, with leaked tech-specs by GFXBench.

It isn't a secret that Huawei and LEICA have made a partnership, the only question would be when or for which device. From this leaked image it looks like this could be the upcoming Huawei P9. Set for a 6 April 2016 announcement, this leaked image clearly shows the LEICA logo with a SUMMARIT and f/2.2 aperture and 27mm focal length on the strip where the camera is located, along with dual cameras, what appears to be dual laser autofocus sensors and a finger print sensor below it. But then again, these do not match with previous leaked images.

Just a few hours ago, Oppomart.com released some details about the Huawei P9. And that's not all, the P9 is the middle child between the P9 Lite and P9 Max, meaning that there are three variants and possibly based on their internal storage capacity and RAM power. Below are the details we got from Oppomart.com, but do take them with a grain of salt:-

Huawei recently announced their MateBook hybrid 2-in-1 tablet at MWC but didn't really detail anything on their upcoming Huawei P9 flagship smartphone. Looks like we may see it sooner than you think as a teaser image of an invite for a Huawei event has appeared. While we're not sure what beer has to do with it, the P9 has been making the rounds in the rumour mill recently with leaks revealing tech specs like a dual rear camera estimated to be 12MP camera sensors much like the one in the Huawei Nexus 6P but perhaps with different lens like on the LG G5.

No other tech specs or features were revealed but we expect it to have the Kirin 950 (or 955) processor, 4GB / 6GB of RAM, 32GB storage and possibly a USB Type-C port. No Malaysia release dates or pricing details yet, but it is expected to come with the Huawei P9 Lite, Huawei P9 Enhanced Edition and Huawei P9 Max. Stay tuned for more details and as always with such rumours do take this with a pinch of salt.

China’s 3C Quality Certification recently certified the Huawei Mate 8 and there are three versions of the phone coded NXT-AL10, the NXT-CL00 and the NXT-TL00. It’s likely this trio will reach China’s three major telecom operators, China Unicom, China Telecom and China Mobile.
