In continuing the Vivo S1 hype, Vivo Malaysia has announced that its latest S series smartphone will also be available on Digi Phone Freedom 365 package for only RM36 a month. Available in either Diamond Black and Skyline Blue, any customer who purchases the phone will have a free Bluetooth Speaker.

So this is it, Vivo Malaysia has officially announced the Vivo S1 and the pre-order has started today until 26 July 2019. Priced at an affordable RM1099, the new S-series smartphone will launch in Malaysia on 24 July and will go on sale after the pre-order period.

The vivo S1 is now officially out in Indonesia but it is definitely not the same variant as the S1 released in China. The smartphone comes with a few differences from its brethren in China, swapping the pop up selfie camera for a waterdrop notch, the Helio P70 chipset for the Helio P65 and the rear mounted fingerprint reader for an in-display fingerprint scanner.

So here's another one that jumped on the gun, our local distributor, DirectD, has leaked the price tag for the upcoming Vivo S1 just a few minutes ago (well, sort of). According to their Facebook post, the Vivo S1 will be priced at RM1X99 and although there's no release date yet, we speculate it could be sooner than later since it has passed SIRIM.
