A recent leak from Apple’s internal code suggests that the upcoming M5-powered MacBook Pro may break its Wi-Fi dependency and include a built-in 5G modem. The code reveals it's powered not only by the next-generation M5 Pro chip, but also by a custom in-house 5G modem codenamed “Centauri", which first appeared in the iPhone 16e.

Apple has officially stopped signing iOS 18.5 as of 5 August 2025, following the recent release of iOS 18.6. This means users who have already upgraded can no longer downgrade their iPhones or iPads to the previous version.

Based on the latest leaks, Apple iPhone 17 Air may feature a 2900mAh battery and an incredibly slim 5.5mm chassis—making it potentially the thinnest iPhone to date.
