Today, Samsung Malaysia just announced that three Samsung Galaxy phones will have a new dropped price. In this short news, the Galaxy A32, Galaxy S20 FE 5G and Galaxy Note20 5G prices have been slashed up to RM700!

Towards the end of April, we have been talking a lot about the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE LTE model and it seems that Samsung has left the cat out of the bag. On Samsung Malaysia's official store on Shopee, the phone can be seen on sale for RM2299 and we aren't sure if it was supposed to happen (because there is no official news yet). Regardless, here's what you need to know.

Earlier this month, there were some rumours that the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 4G could have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset but it seems official now. Someone spotted the model on Samsung's official website in Sweeden and there are other tech specs details as well.

As the rumours go, a newer Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 4G version is said to be in development right now but that's not the only interesting thing. According to @UniverseIce, he claimed that the Galaxy S20 FE 4G would come with a Snapdragon 865+ chipset soon.

It seems that there might be a Samsung Galaxy S20 FE variant coming soon that’s equipped with the Snapdragon 865 chipset but only supports up to 4G. While not much is known in regards to the Malaysia release date, it does give us a better idea of what to expect when it is available in the local market.

Here, we found that the new Samsung Galaxy S20 FE (Fan Edition) with the model number SM-G780G is coming soon because it appeared on the Wi-Fi Alliance and Thailand's NBTC. The previous Galaxy S20 FE comes in two variants which are the LTE variant (SM-G780F) and 5G variant (SM-G781B).

Samsung has officially announced on their Facebook page and the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, as well as the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G, have their price reduce down to RM3999 and RM2999 respectively. If you’re interested, both the smartphones mentioned can be purchased from Samsung’s official website starting from today onwards.

While 5G is definitely a future, it's a future that won't be a reality for many regions just yet. If you add the fact that 5G phones tend to cost more, it makes sense for consumers to want 4G variants. Luckily, we now have some good news: There could be 4G version of the Samsung Galaxy S21 coming soon.

A report by gizchina.com seems to hint that last year’s Samsung Galaxy S20 series may have been discontinued and it will not be available for purchase from Samsung’s official stores. While much is known in regards to the exact reason why Samsung discontinued the S20 series, we have good reason to suspect that it was done to encourage customers to purchase the Galaxy S21 series instead.

Based on a statement by yeux1122 on the user’s blog, it seems that next year’s Samsung Galaxy S21 series could be much cheaper than the Samsung Galaxy S20 series launched this year. While not much is known in regards to the Malaysia release date, we do know that it will most likely be unveiled worldwide somewhere around Q1 2021.
