It seems that the mid-year sales have not ended for some brands and Huawei Malaysia is no exception. In view of the upcoming 8.8 sales, some of Huawei's discounted prices are still ongoing. 

It seems that Huawei has recently unveiled the Huawei P40 4G smartphone which comes equipped with the Kirin 990 4G chipset, and it’s priced at RMB3398 (~RM2127). Unfortunately, there is no official information in regards to whether the smartphone will be available in the local market.

In conjunction with the Chinese New Year celebrations, Huawei will be hosting the Triple The Huat campaign, where you can get a 10% off coupon with any in-app purchases on game apps from now until 8 March 2021. Today, Huawei has officially released HarmonyOS 2.0 beta program for some Huawei smartphones. At the moment, the Huawei P40 series, Mate 30 series and MatePad Pro will be going public testing first before rolling out. App developers who are interested in HarmonyOS 2.0 can apply for free as well. 

Based on a statement by a user on Reddit, it seems that Google might have blocked the sideloading of Google apps on Huawei smartphones via the Kirin processor detection. While not much is known in regards to why did Google do this, it seems that smartphones that are affected include the Huawei P30, P20, as well as the P40 due to “incompatible CPU/processor”.

Huawei is no stranger when it comes manufacturing different smartphones with various colour models. It can be argued that they were also responsible for influencing the dual-tone design for the market as well but it seems that they left out one smartphone - a Huawei P40 Pro prototype in Aurora Green.

From now on until 11 November, Huawei Malaysia have started the 11.11 Super Sale event and there are plenty of gadgets which includes smartphones, tablets, earbuds, smartwatches and more.
