With the new announcement of the iPhone 15 series, the older iPhones on the Apple Malaysia website got a new slashed price as per tradition. Not only the pro variants of the iPhone 14 and iPhone 13 series are gone, but the iPhone 13 mini was removed as speculated. 

Apple Malaysia have made a surprise (not really) announcement with a brand new yellow colour for the Apple iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus smartphones. Going for pre-order from 10 March 2023, the new yellow iPhones will be available from 14 March 2023.

According to Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, there could be a new iPhone 14 colour model soon this month or so. If proven true, we may be getting a new yellow look and before that, there was a leak on Weibo about the news.

There’s been a lot of teasers for the upcoming realme GT3 and it looks like here’s another one as a leaked image reveals that it could be the first Android phone to get a “Dynamic Island” like on the Apple iPhone 14 Pro and Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max. Initially revealed on those iPhones to make use of the space taken by the wider front camera punch hole. 

Xiaomi is reportedly set to release the Xiaomi Civi 2 in the global market as the Xiaomi 13 Lite 5G soon. Interestingly, the device has a pill-shaped camera cutout on its screen that’s very similar to the Dynamic Island found on the iPhone 14 Pro series.

The mobile phone market last year saw a significant decrease in sales due to the global recession as well as supply chain issues in China. However, despite the shortcomings, a report by Canalys showed that Apple still dominated the Chinese smartphone market, especially in the high-end segment.

On paper, the iPhone 14 series Crash Detection feature is a good one that can alert nearby authorities if you happened to be in an accident. However, there has been lots of news of triggering false alarms, particularly those who went on a rollercoaster, ice skating and other fast-paced activities.

Previously, we reported that iPhone 14 Pro series users are experiencing flashing horizontal lines on their displays when booting up. Now, Apple has acknowledged the issue and promised that the bug would be fixed in the next iOS update.

From time to time, we would see some iPhone clones in the market. Recently in China, there is an iPhone 14 Pro clone called the LeEco S1 Pro that looks exactly like it, even with the Dynamic Island feature.
