When it comes to software updates, Samsung has always been pretty consistent. Many people had hopes that the Android 10 update would be released to all Samsung devices gradually, but now it seems that the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy Note 8 series (among others) won't be included in this update.

Samsung Malaysia recently confirmed the announcement date of the next Samsung UNPACKED to be 8 August 2019 along with a teaser video showing off a stylus and a camera. As such, it's a no-brainer that the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 (and possibly Galaxy Note 10 Pro) could be the device that may be revealed. Of course, there's no Malaysia release dates or pricing details yet but you can register your interest for now.

It's been a couple of weeks now since the Samsung Galaxy Note9 made its debut and we have been writing a lot of stuff about it. From battery to performance and even some cool tricks that we found out, but at the end of it all, these are just incremental updates and so begs the question - Is it worth upgrading the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 to the Samsung Galaxy Note 9?

Press renders for the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 courtesy of AndroidHeadlines.com showcasing the front of the device where it seems to have a big resemblance to the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Not only that, based on the statement from AndroidHeadlines, it seems that the top and bottom bezels are slightly smaller than its predecessor. But that’s not all, based on previous reports, the fingerprint sensor which is housed in the rear of the device will be placed below the horizontal section that houses cameras, flash, and the heart rate monitor.

We recently spotted someone selling a Huawei Mate 10 Pro for RM379 (normal RRP RM3099) and a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 for RM509 (normal RRP RM3999). Suffice to say, if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is, so BE ALERT! Don't just rush, rush and buy, buy just because the price looks good but you can see why below.

In view of the coming Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018, Samsung Electronics Malaysia has carried out a special "Do What You Can't" event and a short animation skit entitled “Julian and His Magical Skates". And get this, the whole video was fully recorded and illustrated with the Samsung Galaxy Note8 with its S Pen, which we didn't know was possible until they mentioned it today.

The Samsung Galaxy Note series has always been a favourite for people who just love big screen devices with a stylus, it was only until the Note 7 broke that winning streak due to battery safety issues.
