Last night, Xiaomi Malaysia finally unveiled the Mi 11 Ultra and it's sure one big boy thanks to the secondary display beside the triple rear camera. But did you know that the secondary display is exactly the same one as the Mi Band 5?

As reported two days ago, Xiaomi Malaysia announced that they are bringing the Mi Smart Band 5 into Malaysia and it's finally launching here. As speculated, the official price tag is RM169 and interested customers may purchase the wearable through their online store on Lazada and Shopee.

Just a few days ago, we reported that a local tech seller is selling the Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 5 (Global edition) at RM179. Although it's not an official price, it's quite a reasonable price when compared with the euro pricing. That said, Xiaomi Malaysia is pleased to announce that the new wearable will be arriving in Malaysia on 24 July 2020.

Two days ago, Xiaomi revealed a bunch of new ecosystem products which includes a Mi Smart Band 5, Mi TV Stick, Mi Electric Scooter Pro, Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 and a Mi Curved Gaming Monitor. However, it was a global launch so the prices were all announced in euros. While we wait for the official local launch, a Malaysian website managed to get their hands on the Mi Band 5 and Mi TV Stick first.

The Xiaomi Mi Band 5 has been internationally unveiled today and it comes equipped with features such as magnetic charging, as well as 14-day battery life at the price of 39.99 Euros (~RM195). It is best to note that there is no official news on the Malaysia release date and local pricing right now, so you might want to stay tuned on that.
