If you’ve been having problems with Microsoft Teams, Azure or Outlook today then you’re not the only one, as cloud users across the world lost access. Countries affected included the US, Europe, Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Africa. Microsoft says that it has mostly recovered from a “networking outage” and it should be business as usual though.

Microsoft has announced that it is currently investigating an outage with its Microsoft Teams app, though the company did not detail how many users have been affected. Earlier today at around 10am Malaysian time, thousands of Microsoft Teams users reported that there are unable to access the app or use any of its features.

After Facebook changed its name to Meta to tell us how much the company cares about Metaverse, Microsoft soon jumped on the bandwagon by announcing Mesh as its own take on the technology concept. For the latter, it focuses on building an interactive platform for virtual experiences inside Microsoft Teams.

In light of Zoom taking the spotlight for the wrong reasons and fixing issues on-the-go, it seems that barely anyone has paid any attention to Microsoft Teams at all. We have mentioned them a couple of times before but today, we just found out that the company is actually offering a 6-month free trial to their premium version (for more than a month now).

Last week, Microsoft Corp. has rolled out a new chat-based workspace system called Microsoft Teams. Designed to enhance productivity and communication among the employees, the program offers collaboration capabilities, content and the tools needed for them to work with Microsoft Office 365.
