Xiaomi is expanding its smart home ecosystem in Malaysia with the debut of the Mijia Front Load Washer Dryer 10.5kg, a sleek 2-in-1 appliance designed for modern households. Combining powerful wash-and-dry performance, advanced hygiene features, and intelligent controls, it’s built to deliver convenience and care in one minimalist unit.

As many of you should know by now, Xiaomi not only produces smartphones but also many smart home and appliance devices. Today, Xiaomi Malaysia officially introduced the Mijia Refrigerator Cross Door 510L at RM2,899.

Xiaomi is no stranger to manufacturing products for its Internet of Things ecosystem, but this new one is a surprise. For the first time, the company unveiled a brand-new Mijia Air Conditioner Pro Eco in Malaysia (the first globally). The starting price for the lineup is RM1,899.

Xiaomi has launched a new washing and drying machine combo with a rather unconventional design under its MIJIA sub brand. Called the MIJIA 15kg Partition Washing and Drying Machine, it features a unique tall double-decker design in which the two machines are partitioned vertically.

As you may know, Xiaomi fancies itself as the "make everything" company. Besides smartphones, it sells a variety of other electronics such as electric shavers (lol) and smart speakers. Yesterday, the company announced that a new smart home camera will be launching soon.

If you're a big fan of Xiaomi, you would know that the company works a lot with MIJIA on producing other kinds of products such as the Mijia Electric Scooter. Well, just recently, MIJIA will no longer be referred to this name anymore as they will be renamed to Xiaomi Smart Life. This was confirmed on their official Weibo channel.

At this point, Xiaomi have come up with so many hardware products that nothing really surprised us anymore. In their latest project, it seems that the company have started crowdfunding for a new Mijia handheld ironing machine. The cost? 99 Yuan only (~RM60).

Xiaomi not only produces smartphones, but the Chinese tech giant has also been producing other tech products like home appliances under the company’s sub-brand Mijia. In 2016, the company released an electric scooter and it has received many awards. Now, they are finally bringing us the upgraded version of the electric scooter in 2020, and it’s called Xiaomi Mijia Scooter 1S.

One thing that many still find unusual about Xiaomi is how it has products in vastly different fields. The company even makes shoes, with the latest one being the Mijia Sneakers 4 that was launched recently. As the number suggests, this is the fourth generation of the Mijia Sneakers and it comes with a few improvements.

The Xiaomi Mijia was found to have a very critical security problem recently. For some reason, Xiaomi's security cameras are able to capture still images from other cameras' feeds. Google was made aware of this issue soon enough and Xiaomi is hopefully already in the midst of resolving it.
