Today, Apple has officially announced that the annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) will be held from the 7th until the 11th of June 2021. As expected, it will be a livestream event and it's free for all developers. Like every WWDC, we shall be expecting news about iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS and tvOS. 

Back in February, the beta version of iOS 14.5 revealed the possibility of a MagSafe power bank. Apple may not launch the product in the end, but that's not stopping other companies from doing so. In fact, there's a new wireless power bank for iPhones from the company called Hyper.

If you have an older iPhone, chances are you don't want it to break down. It's hard to get older models repaired and there are only so many Apple authorised repair shops in Malaysia, so it could take time for them to fix your phone. Hopefully, that will change now that the Independent Repair Provider Program is going global.

Every year, Apple makes major announcements during its WWDC conference. Most of them are software related and that should be the case for WWDC 2021 too. Interestingly, we may already have an idea of what's to come thanks to recent finds.

The postponement of Apple's March event means that the iPad Pro won't be launched till April 2021. But there has been a lot of rumours about this device in recent months, so we know quite a bit about it. Now, we also know the exact chipset it would have.

Earlier this year, a list of smartphones that are coming with an LTPO display was revealed and Apple's 2021 iPhones were spotted as well. Other than that, it was also found out that Apple could be launching the iPhone 12s series this year instead of the iPhone 13. Apple has been working on different new technologies to improve the Apple Watch. Last year, we saw patents for a watch band with embedded batteries and an under-display camera. Now, there's also a new one describing a flexible display.

If you recall, there was a rumour claiming that Apple is developing new HomePods. The new models are expected to feature a screen and a camera. Well, we may just have an idea what these would be used for in the latest tvOS update.

A report by Ming-Chi Kuo seems to suggest that Apple’s upcoming Mixed Reality Headset could weigh in at around 150g or less. Achieving such a weight is possible by adopting the hybrid Fresnel lens design, which offers improved optical performance while maintaining a lower weight.

If you recalled, it was previously rumoured that Apple could discontinue the HomePod. Instead, the company is expected to focus on developing the HomePod Mini. Now, sources claim that the company has been working on new HomePod models.
