For a few years, many smartphone brands have set Beauty Mode on the camera UI by default. Usually found in Chinese branded phones (as well as Samsung), some Beauty Modes are still visible even if you turn it off. As popular as it may, recent studies have found that there is a correlation to negative mental health so Google has decided to turn it off by default.

When you're out and about, it's always great to have your list of tasks on hand for quick reference. Some people don't bother with it, but it's nice to have an app to track your todo list with a calendar. For Android and iOS users, you can now do that from within Google Calendar.

Along with its new Pixel smartphones and Chromecast with Google TV, Google has launched the Nest Audio. This is the successor to the Google Home series speaker and will easily connect to any existing Google smart speakers you have.

Back in June, Google announced that it would be bringing a noise cancellation to Google Meet. The feature has been on the web version for some time, but it was only yesterday Google announced that the update is now going to be available on Android and iOS.

With the ongoing fiasco between Epic Games and Apple for Fornite, Google has decided to make its stance on the matter clear. The company has announced that developers that have apps on the Google Play Store must use Google Play's billing system. In other words, apps that bypass it will not be allowed.

Now that Android 11 has officially launched, we're seeing a lot of brands making that transition for their devices. But they're not the only one, as Google has begun to upgrade some of its other platforms as well. Specifically, the company has confirmed that Android TV will be getting upgraded.

With the launch of iOS 14, one of the new things that Apple finally added to the operating system is the option to set default apps. Now, Google has since jumped on the change and has begun to update its iOS version apps so that you can use them as default apps in iOS.

As was revealed earlier this week, Google is getting ready to launch the new products on 30 September 2020. This includes a new Pixel device, smart speakers, and the Chromecast replacement that we've written about previously. Sources have now found more images of the new device and claim that it has a new name.
