It's almost time for the next-gen flagship war with the chip makers preparing their 4nm offerings for the smartphone companies. According to a Chinese tipster from Weibo, the upcoming MediaTek Dimensity 2000 will be based on TSMC's 4nm process, which might give it a chance to rival other powerful contenders.

It was reported that TSMC's 3nm process will be entering mass production next year and Apple is the first to contract with the manufacturer for the technology. Now, a source is claiming that TSMC will also be working with Apple to develop the 2nm process.
