Last week, we reported on the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 getting certified by FCC and some of the confirmation tech specs and the Xiaomi Smart Pen. As the launch is getting nearer, Xiaomi has officially unveiled the packaging box of the Mi Pad 5 and mentioned there will be a surprise.

After announcing that the Mi Mix 4 will be unveiled on 10 August, Xiaomi continues to confirm that Mi Pad 5 will also make an appearance on that day. The tablet will be competing with the likes of the Apple iPad, Samsung Galaxy Tab, and HUAWEI MatePad once it arrives.

Last month we reported on Xiaomi’s upcoming Mi Pad 5’s leaked outlook design and also the accessories as well as the tech specs later on. Today, the Xiaomi Smart Pen received FCC certification ahead of the launch which will likely be bundled together with the Mi Pad 5 series.

Over the last few weeks, we've been seeing some scattered rumours on specs for the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 series. Some of the rumours don't specify which exact model is being referred to. But with all these rumours provide, we can consolidate what we know so far.
