It's now 2018 which means we will be having new gadget toys to play with! If you know Samsung's tradition, they will be releasing a new Galaxy S9 and S9+ soon and it should be around the first quarter of 2018. Render concepts have been popping up more and more recently, so here's another look at the courtesy of Weibo thread forums, showing us the latest render.

According to Bloomberg, tech-giant Samsung Electronics will be planning to release a new flagship smartphone in February next year. Of course, the new smartphones are probably going to be called the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus as successors to the Galaxy S8 series. The timeline for announcement and release date seems to be in order since that's the tradition of Samsung to do so around that period, but what can we expect?

Knowing Samsung's pattern, the Samsung Galaxy S9 is likely to be released in March next year and no, it's not too early for some Galaxy S9 juicy rumours. There are a few here and there so in this latest one, we are getting some reports on that the company is considering a new colour add-on for the flagship.

Remember back during the day when Samsung used to make mini versions of their S-line of devices? There wasn’t a Galaxy S8 Mini but reports from BusinessKorea show that there could be a Samsung Galaxy S9 Mini in March 2019 next year along with the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus.

It would seem papa Samsung has been listening to their fans and could have thusly revamped the positioning of the fingerprint scanner as well the headphone jack option for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S9 devices which are due next year.

According to the patent application, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S9 may come with a display notch, just like what you see on the upcoming Apple iPhone X and the Essential Phone.
