While the official announcement from Apple yesterday outed the Malaysia release date for the Apple iPhone 5S and5C as 1 November 2013, a look at the Apple Malaysia site reveals another date. When you scroll down to the Shop online option the date you can start ordering online at the Malaysian Apple store is 31 October 2013. This means if you're looking to get the Gold Apple iPhone 5S then you should be prepared for a midnight rush on 30 October 2013. Looking back at the wording of the announcement and it specifically says "by 1 November 2013" which means that 31 October 2013 also works as it is before the 1 November 2013 deadline. 

Apple has just announced the second phase of it's iPhone roll-out and Malaysia is on the list. With this, Apple has officially confirmed that the Apple iPhone 5S and Apple iPhone 5C will be launched in Malaysia on 1 November 2013. While the announcement covers the Malaysia release date, it doesn't include pricing, so we still don't know the official price of either smartphone. In this case we're happy to be wrong with our initial release date estimates of December 2013 but prices are likely to be a bit higher this time around due to the weaker Ringgit and a currency exchange between US Dollars and the Ringgit. We expect that on the launch date of 1 November 2013, all the major telcos will release their Apple iPhone 5C or 5S bundles as well but it will also likely be made available at other local retail sellers. After previously doing their gold-plating thing with the HTC One, GoldenGenie are now offering the Apple iPhone 5S in 5 different styles using gold, platinum or rose gold. As mentioned in the title, the price can go all the way up to $4400 (RM13928) but there's no denying that the actual gold plated device looks much more stunning than the standard "champagne gold" anodized aluminum casing of the Apple iPhone 5S. Apart from the hefty price you can also expect the resulting Apple iPhone 5S to weigh a lot more as well. As usual, each gold plated version comes with it's own classy wooden box. While we've been hearing reports that the upcoming Apple iPhone 5S and low-cost Apple iPhone 5C may be coming on 10 September 2013, some sources are saying that this is off by about 10 days. According to these sources, they say that these Apple device may instead be sold on 20 September 2013. This is based on the rumour that Apple may start rolling out the completed version of iOS 7 on 16 September 2013, as the Apple iOS 7 Golden Master release is said to be coming on 5 September 2013. These sources indicate that Apple may also have a second announcement event in October to reveal the Apple iPad 5 and iPad mini 2. These two Apple tablets are expected to go on sale on 25 October 2013. As always, take this with a pinch of salt as we expect the rumours to continue flying even right before the real event starts.

The next Apple iPhone will undoubtedly be the Apple iPhone 5S but even then a whole truckload of rumours and leaked pics have fueled predictions about the features that may come with Apple's next version of the iPhone. So far, everyone is saying it will come on 10 September 2013 with release dates for Malaysia and other countries expected around October but this isn't a feature. Compiling these features into one post, the features that have been circulating the most and may appear for the Apple iPhone 5S include:

Previously Apple teased 10 September 2013 as the date when they would reveal the next Apple iPhone, which would probably be the Apple iPhone 5S. Many are expecting it to come with the final version of iOS 7 and be announced alongside the low-cost Apple iPhone 5C. However, this may no longer be the case as some anonymous tipsters have suggested that both smartphones may be released on 25 October 2013 instead. While this would definitely involve the Apple iPhone 5S and lower cost Apple iPhone 5C, it could also come with the announcement of the new MacBook Air as well. We're thinking that while the Apple iPhone 5S and 5C may be announced on 10 September 2013, they'll only be released and be available on 25 October 2013 which could be the reason for the different dates. However, we shouldn't have to wait all that long as 10 September 2013 is just around the corner.

According to insider information, the next Apple iPhone, which should be the Apple iPhone 5S, is coming soon on 10 September 2013. This fits with previous release dates which also happened around this time period and while the rumour circulating is about the iPhone 5S release, it will also mark the final release of other related devices and products like perhaps iOS 7 (which is already in beta 5) and the supposedly low-cost Apple iPhone 5C. While these are the more definite announcements that are likely to happen on that date, bear in mind that the Apple iPad 5 could also make an appearance as backplate housing for the tablet has surfaced. The Apple iPad mini with Retina Display on the other hand is still slated for around 2014 though.
