The folks at Business Insider recently did a camera sample comparison between the Apple iPhone 7 Plus and Samsung Galaxy S7 which you can see below. Clearly, the dual rear camera on the iPhone 7 Plus brings much better quality photos compared to the iPhone 6s Plus but they found that when compared against the dual pixel camera on the Galaxy S7, the iPhone 7 Plus isn't as consistent and has autofocus issues. Granted, the new telephoto lens does help make zoom up shots more detailed.
However, because the iPhone 7 Plus automatically adjusts the exposure and lighting of each photo based on autofocused targets, each shot (even though it is taken in burst mode) can be slightly different. The Galaxy S7 also managed to catch better detailed low-light shots.
