After being absent in the Malaysian smartphone market for a while, HONOR is finally having a comeback with the HONOR 50. Although the device already launched in China back in June, it's still exciting to find out that it can finally be bought in the local market, not to mention it comes with Google Mobile Services this time. 

This morning, HONOR Malaysia just officially confirmed that the HONOR 50 series is coming to Malaysia on 18 October 2021. This actually makes Malaysia the first overseas country outside of China to have the launching, proving that we are still an important market to the company.

A few days ago, HONOR Malaysia has confirmed the HONOR 50 will hit the local market soon. Here we spotted the price tag of the device in Europe and it will come with a price tag of €499 (~RM2410) for the 6GB+128GB variant and the 8GB+256GB variant will cost around €599 (~RM2893).

When HONOR introduced the HONOR 50 series a while ago, the company had promised a global launch for several countries. However, it has been relatively quiet since then about the dates of the plan. Until now, HONOR Malaysia has finally confirmed with a source that the HONOR 50 will debut in the local market soon.

Today, HONOR Malaysia just announce that the HONOR MagicBook 14 (2021 edition) will be releasing soon in Malaysia. Scheduled for 1 October 2021, it will be priced from RM2699 and comes bundled with some gifts. It can be purchased via the online channels of HONOR Store, Lazada’s HONOR Flagship Store, Shopee’s HONOR Official Store, Senheng Online Store and the HONOR Authorized Stores nationwide.

It looks like HONOR will have another major event happening soon after it launched the HONOR 50 series last month. The company has shared a poster for the HONOR Global Press Conference and it's going to be held on 12 August 2021.

The highly-anticipated HONOR 50 series has finally debuted today. Not only the HONOR 50 and 50 Pro were presented as the first devices to arrive with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 778 chipset, but the company has also brought along the HONOR 50 SE that comes with MediaTek Dimensity 900. A leak spotted by 91mobile and Ishan Agarwal seems to showcase the full tech specs of the HONOR 50, HONOR 50 Pro, and the HONOR 50 SE. While not much is known about the Malaysia release date, it gives us a better idea of what to expect when it’s available in the local market.

Last week, a teaser confirmed that the Honor 50 series would be launching on 16 June 2021. It's rumoured that there would be at least three variants to the series. We don't know if they'll all look the same, but there have been plenty of new design leaks that appeared yesterday.
