After a few months, the Nintendo eShop is finally having its first major digital sale in Malaysia. While the sales are only for select titles, it offers Malaysian Switch and Switch 2 gamers access to discounted games ranging from family party titles to RPGs and blockbuster releases. It has already begun on 27 May and runs until 9 June 2026, although some titles may have different ending dates depending on the promotion.

It was only a matter of time before Nintendo raised the price of the Switch 2. On its official website, the company officially confirmed a price revision for the newest console across multiple global markets, citing ongoing market condition changes and rising operational costs.

As we reported yesterday, it was announced that the Nintendo Switch 2 will indeed arrive in Malaysia on 3 July 2025. Official prices weren't yet clear at the time, as the Nintendo Malaysia website did not list them. However, the official Nintendo distributor, Convergent Distribution Malaysia, and other local authorised retailers have since listed them.

Nintendo has officially confirmed that the Nintendo Switch 2 will be available in Malaysia between July and September 2025. Based on international pricing, the console is expected to start at approximately RM2000. The standard model is priced at USD449.99 overseas, with regional bundle versions estimated to cost slightly more.
