Weekly TechNave: The Samsung Galaxy J 2016 series, honor 5C, YES 4G LTE SIM, Mi 5 and more

This week on Weekly TechNave, Samsung Malaysia went entry-level in a big way with the official announcement of their Galaxy J 2016 series. Of note was the Samsung Galaxy J1 2016 priced at below RM450 but packing a free Yes 4G LTE SIM with 30GB of data preloaded for 2 months. Honor Malaysia officially revealed the more powerful and beautiful honor 5C for RM799 while the Xiaomi Mi 5 finally landed in Malaysia for RM1549 at non-online shops.

The Google Chromecast 2 and Chromecast Audio also made their official Malaysia landing. On the International front, the OnePlus 3 was officially launched alongside the Xiaomi Redmi 3s while honor also announced their entry-level honor 5A. LG made 4 new announcements with their X power, X mach, X style and X max smartphones. Apple's WWDC revealed iOS 10 but sorry folks, no iPhone or iPad reveals.

On the Telco side, we got a tour of the Maxis Contact Center while Celcom is offering their FIRST subscribers free Waze during Raya and Ramadan. We also made our way to the Gamer's Hideout for Logitech's gaming peripherals and a cruise to try out the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge in the dark.

On the review side we have the Huawei MediaPad M2 10.0 hands-on video and a review of the TP-Link Neffos C5. We also had some hands-on time with the Samsung Galaxy J1 2016, J5 2016 and J7 2016.
