On the same day as the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ got released in Malaysia last week, Senheng also did their own mini launch + exhibition, letting customers having hands-on experience with the latest devices as well as the Samsung Gear 360 and Gear VR with a Controller.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus have been officially launched here in Malaysia for RM3299 and RM3699 respectively. With the pre-orders heading out today, the roadshows kicking off tomorrow lets you buy the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus with the Limited Edition Starter Kit (clear cover, screen protector, wireless charger stand, USB Type C cable) and a purchase-with-purchase 50% discount off the Gear VR and Gear 360. You can also drop by a Samsung experience store and trade-in your old phone for a discount with a free 5100 mAh powerbank.

Aside from the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, Samsung also announced their Samsung Gear VR for the Galaxy Note 7. Powered by Oculus Rift VR, the Gear VR may be made for the Note 7 but it is also backward compatible with other Samsung devices like the Galaxy S7 edge and Galaxy S7. No Malaysia release dates but we expect it to be coupled with the Galaxy Note 7 when it arrives on 19 August 2016.

We are just within 48 hours from the official launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, and we have one last leak before the launch. A new report has shared the (supposedly) final specs list for the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, as well as the first looks of the new Samsung Gear VR for the phone.

The current generation Samsung Gear VR is great for wire-free VR experience, but there is no real control solution for the experience – until now. It has been revealed that Samsung is making their own VR controller to be used with the Oculus-powered Samsung Gear VR.

Virtual reality has often been a subject of science fiction works from movies and novels, but Samsung's latest mind-boggling technology says otherwise, you can actually see more and more people using it especially in YouTube and Facebook lately. Virtual reality has never been this close but it's here now, and Samsung brought it to us even closer by releasing the Samsung Gear VR two weeks ago, with quite a reasonable price if one might add for RM459 (with GST). It's also compatible with Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6, S6 edge and S6 edge+ smartphones.

Samsung Gear VR has finally arrived in Malaysia and it is the latest, improved and more ergonomic version of the Innovator Edition for the S6 which was launched earlier this year. Currently priced at RM459 (with GST), the Gear VR comes in Frost White colour, lightweight, wireless, and is compatible with Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6, S6 Edge and S6 Edge+.

While there isn't any companion smartwatch for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 this time around, there is a companion virtual reality headset in the form of the Samsung Gear VR. Officially announced alongside the phablet, the Gear VR is a virtual reality headset that uses the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 as the main display. Created in collaboration with the developers of the Occulus Rift virtual reality goggles, the headset offers a complete 360 degree view for a number of applications.
