In this short announcement, Grab has quietly put up a notice on a new update for topping up your GrabPay Wallet. Starting from 11 September 2024 onwards, Grab users will be charged a fee if they use their credit cards to top up.

Samsung Malaysia Electronics has announced its new campaign for consumers in our country, whereby you can now purchase selected Samsung Home Appliances and Monitors with ease using GrabPay or PayLater by Grab. Not only that but there are also special promo and discounts when you use the aforementioned payment methods.

Although the use of e-wallets has become more prevalent, there are still many who question why we should use them. By now, most of the youths have already claimed their ePemula credits but we also saw lots of memes on Twitter. On the platform, it seems that many of them are rather disappointed by some of the limitations.

The Finance Ministry (MOF) in a statement yesterday announced that around 2 million Malaysian youths will receive an RM150 e-wallet credit starting this mid-April. Part of the government’s ePemula scheme, those that are eligible include youths aged 18 to 20 as well as full-time students in higher learning institutions.

Furthermore, those eligible would get to enjoy the benefit through one of four e-wallet providers, which are BigPay, GrabPay, ShopeePay and Touch ’n Go. MOF said that the four e-wallet service providers have a network of 1.2 million retailers in Malaysia.

Today, Setel has announced a new partnership with GrabPay Malaysia to provide GrabPay as a top-up option when reloading the Setel Wallet. Not only is it offering convenience, but there are also inclusive and rewarding experiences for both Setel and GrabPay users. 

Based on Grab Singapore’s official website, it seems that Grab has officially started allowing users to transfer funds in their GrabPay wallet to their bank account. But that’s not all, it seems that it also allows Grab users to transfer funds to other e-wallets as well with no additional minimum transfer and no transaction fees.

Great news for Malaysians who like to use GrabPay! You can now enjoy savings up to 50% off when you pay your online goods with GrabPay. This 10.10 campaign starts from now until 31 October 2020.

The Philippines is set to launch GrabPay Card during the first quarter of 2020 after it launches in Singapore last year. Today, Grab Malaysia mentioned it is interested in launching the numberless GrabPay Card locally within this year.
